Terms & Conditions – Maple Detailing

 

By booking any service with Maple Detailing, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Bookings & Deposits

  • All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full upon completion of the service unless agreed otherwise in writing.

 

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

We operate on a strict scheduling system due to high demand.

  • 48+ hours notice: Appointment can be rescheduled with no additional charge.

  • 24–48 hours notice: Deposit is retained, but one reschedule may be offered at our discretion.

  • Less than 24 hours notice: Full deposit is lost.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows: May be charged up to 100% of the booking value.

 

Maple Detailing reserves the right to refuse future bookings from repeat cancellations.

3. Late Arrivals

  • Clients arriving late may result in a reduced service time to avoid disruption to other bookings.

  • Significant delays may be treated as a cancellation and subject to fees.

 

4. Vehicle Condition

  • All vehicles are subject to inspection upon arrival.

  • Heavily soiled vehicles (excess pet hair, mould, biohazards, etc.) may incur additional charges.

  • We reserve the right to refuse work if the condition poses health or safety risks.

 

5. Pricing

  • All prices are starting prices and may vary depending on vehicle size, condition, and requirements.

  • Final pricing will be confirmed after inspection or based on accurate information provided at booking.

6. Paintwork & Pre-Existing Damage

  • While every care is taken, Maple Detailing is not responsible for:

    • Pre-existing scratches, swirl marks, or damage

    • Poor resprays or weak paintwork

    • Stone chips, dents, or lacquer failure

  • Paint correction and enhancement services improve appearance but do not guarantee complete defect removal.

 

7. Ceramic Coatings

  • Ceramic coatings require proper aftercare to perform as intended.

  • Maple Detailing is not responsible for improper maintenance after application.

  • Curing times must be followed (typically 24–48 hours no water exposure unless stated otherwise).

 

8. Weather & External Factors

  • For mobile services or outdoor work, appointments may be rescheduled due to unsuitable weather conditions.

  • This will be discussed and rearranged at the earliest convenience.

 

9. Personal Belongings

  • Clients are responsible for removing all personal belongings prior to their appointment.

  • Maple Detailing is not liable for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

 

10. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion unless agreed otherwise.

  • We reserve the right to withhold release of the vehicle until full payment is received.

 

11. Satisfaction Policy

  • Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of service completion.

  • We will assess and, where appropriate, rectify any valid issues.

 

12. Liability

  • Maple Detailing will not be held liable for:

    • Mechanical or electrical failures

    • Pre-existing conditions or hidden defects

    • Damage resulting from prior poor workmanship

 

13. Right to Refuse Service

 

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work at any time if:

  • Conditions are unsafe

  • The client is unreasonable or abusive

  • The vehicle condition was misrepresented

 

14. VIP Maintenance Plan

  • VIP Maintenance is only available to qualifying vehicles (ceramic coating or Maple Refresh completed).

  • Missed maintenance appointments without notice may result in removal from the plan.

 

15. Agreement

By booking with Maple Detailing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
